Can't Sleep

Many people have difficulty achieving the recommended six hours sleep.Coupled with the fact that a lot of people are professionals and lead very hectic lives it can become a seriuos problem when the issue of insoomnia arises.Fortunately there many measures besides popping pills that you can use to improve your chaces of getting a good night's sleep hence avoiding inquisitive question on your withdrawn appearance and dreaded under eye bags.
Exercise regularly;
it may seem counterproductive to you, but upping your level of activity during the evening,when you think you are wiped out,will help you gain a second wind and probably make you to sleep better when you retire for the night.
Learn relaxation techniques;
consciously attend to your breathing.Imagine being in your favourite place,relax your muscles,scanning your body from head to toe and-just breathe.
Acknowledge your syressors;
consider transferringthay list of items swirling around in your head at night onto a sheet of paper.This will help you feel as if you've gotten started on your tasks and let you get some rest.
Avoid caffeine after mid-day;
for those who suffer from insomnia and also can't do without their caffeine dose,you will probably need to curb your intake and avoid caffeine after n oon or there-about.Be wary too of minerals and some teas which oftn contain caffeine as well.
Maintain a routine;
changing your sleep schedule dramatically on Friday and Saturday nights can lead to a shift in your circadian rhythm that carries into the following week.
