Premature Ejaculation occurs when a man cannot control the ejaculatory reflex and,once aroused,reaches orgasm before shortly after intromission.It is the most common type of ejaculatory dysfuction in men:ihibited or retarded retarded ejaculation nis the involuntary reflex.The spectrum of respones ranges from occassional ejaculation through intercourse or self-stimulation to complete inability to ejaculate under any circumstance.
Treatment modalities depend on the nature and severity of the ejaculation problem.Behavioral therapy may be indicated for treatment of premature ejaculation.In some cases,pharmacologic and behavioral therapy together may be effective.Also treament is usually multidiciplinary and addresses the physical and psychological factors that are often involved in the inhibited ejaculation
